What Delta Level 2 looks like at Mode

While Alert Level 2 means some restrictions are relaxed, we still have work to do, and during Delta Level 2, you can expect us to operate a little differently. 

 

As a 100% New Zealand owned company, Mode Rentals is thrilled to get our economy going again. To do so, we will need all the help we can get. Take a much-needed road trip, go see mum and dad, support local, book your next adventure with us, and back your backyard.

 

To give you peace of mind, we will keep on observing all the safety guidelines as we always have. Here is what Level 2 looks like for us:

 

Shuttle Service

We are proud to bring back our free shuttle service to and from the airport. Additionally, if you are trying to avoid the airport crowd and just want to get on the road with us, the free shuttle service will also be available if you are 5-10 minutes away from our depot.

For our shuttle driver's safety and yours, we encourage customers to wear masks whilst in the shuttle. Scan the contact tracing QR code, and keep the front seat and the seat directly behind the driver empty.

We ask all customers to be patient and be kind as our shuttle service will be limited to one bubble at a time.

Baggage Handling and High-Touch Surfaces

As much as we want to help customers with your belongings, please know we will not be able to do so at Alert Level 2. We also ask customers not to open or close shuttle/office doors to reduce the risk on high-touch surfaces.

Physical Distancing and Mask Wearing

Physical distancing between our team and customers is a must. For those traveling in big groups, we will limit the number of customers who may enter our office to drivers only (primary and any addtional drivers).

Because our office spaces will be tight and enclosed with both customers and staff inside, masks must be worn at all times.

Pre-Check In

For our safety and yours, we still recommend that all our customers follow the pre-check in process outlined in the Contactless Rental we introduced in Level 3. Do not worry! Our staff will still be there to help you out when needed.

Contact Tracing

NZ Contact Tracing QR Codes are available across our different locations. You will see these QR codes inside and outside our offices, and inside our shuttle service. We encourage all customers to scan as you check in and out of our premises. Internally, all our staff members are following strict record-keeping so we know who interacted with which customer should the need arise.
