Your general admission ticket gives you access to more than 500 native and exotic animals, daily animal talks, and vet‑led demonstrations at The Nest Te Kōhanga, Wellington Zoo’s very own animal hospital. Open daily (except Christmas Day) from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with last entry at 4:15 PM.
During your visit, you can enjoy your own lunch at our outdoor picnic areas or indulge in the food venues located at the Zoo. REX Tremendous Cafe is found at the entrance and the Banana Bar sits right in the middle of the Zoo.
