Airport Pick-ups & Drop-offs
Once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs, please call us to order your shuttle.

To meet your shuttle, exit the terminal through door 8 near the Jetstar arrivals. Head across the pedestrian crossing to the far lane. Our driver will meet you in the off-airport pick-up area.
To meet your shuttle, head out door 5, cross both the pedestrian crossings to follow the path and signage “All Shuttles” until you reach the shuttle pick-up area “Bay 1”.
The Auckland City office is at 26 Te Taou Crescent, in the old Railway Station building. You can find the old Railway Station by going to the main Spark Arena entrance on Mahuhu Crescent and continuing along the road to the right - the Railway Station is the large red-brick building.
Once you are at the old Railway Station, enter through either of the main front doors and continue across the foyer and through the doors at the back. You will then find the rental counter beside the main reception desk.
Once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs, please call us on (04) 213 8938 to order your shuttle.
To meet your shuttle, exit the terminal through the main door G on the ground floor near the baggage collection. Turn right, walk along the path for about 100 meters and follow the sign for Car Rental Shuttles.
Once you have collected your luggage and cleared customs, please call us on (03) 595 1828 to order your shuttle.
To meet your shuttle, head towards the domestic terminal and exit through Door 2 next to the Air New Zealand service desk. Our driver will meet you in the car rentals transfer area outside Door 2. There is a big “Air New Zealand” sign on the outside wall overlooking the pickup area.
Once you have collected your bags and cleared customs, please call us on (03) 974 4340 to order your shuttle. You can also call us on 826 from the freephone at the transfers area outside the check-in entrance.
To meet your shuttle, exit the terminal through door D (departures) near the check-in counters. Our driver will meet you in the commercial shuttle transfers area.
If you are dropping off in the same location:
Return your vehicle to the same address as the pickup location. Complementary shuttle service is available in all our airport locations.
If you are dropping off at a different location (one-way hires):
During the opening hours of the branch you are returning to, return your vehicle to your booked Mode Rentals branch address. You may check all our branch addresses here.
If you are returning to another branch after-hours please check when you collect the vehicle or during your hire what are the specific after hour drop-off arrangements for your destination branch.
If you are dropping off after-hours:
Each branch has a different after-hours process. Some do so through an agent and some are self-service. We will provide your after-hours drop-off instructions at the time of pickup.
If you initially booked to drop-off within business hours but is unable to do so, please contact your drop-off branch for instructions. After-hours fees apply.
